« back to employment main page Department: Operations Position: Dispatch Assistant Job description: Responsibilities include: assisting in the dispatching of delivery personnel (approximately 12 drives and 50-75 transactions per day); receiving and responding to calls from customers and in-house personnel; data entry and administrative support; and providing a level of customer service that fosters customer retention and growth. Reports to Dispatch Manager. Qualifications:2 years experience in a courier/messenger service operation Thorough understanding of dispatching procedures Excellent customer service skills Good communication skills (verbal and written) Excellent multi-tasking skills Ability to prioritize, assign and direct work assignments Proficient using software applications (i.e. Word, Excel, Outlook) Capable of learning other software applications (i.e. inventory management program, database management) To submit a resume or for more information, write Employment Opportunities. |
