Position: Account Executive
Job description:
The Account Executive (AE) represents our firm in their assigned territory and sells our company’s solutions via telephone and other electronic media. Their primary target market is middle market sized organizations and specific Trade Shows in their assigned territory. As a representative of our company, the telesales person will meet or exceed sales objectives by marketing and selling our company’s services and solutions. This high-energy teleseller will be expected to exercise creativity, diligence and a self-starting, entrepreneurial attitude to accomplish their revenue goals. This position reports to the Sales Manager - Inside Sales.

Possess enthusiasm and persuasive phone skills
Ability to develop long-term business development relationships over the phone
Must be a self-starter that will work with minimal supervision
Possess strategic and tactical selling skills
Have high level networking skills
Organized, disciplined with follow-up
Excellent verbal and written communications skills
Fluent in use of CRM software (SalesLogix would be preferable)
Education & Experience:
4 year college degree is preferred
2 to 3 years successful personal telesales selling track record with B2B, distribution or professional services
Mature, experienced business developer who understands selling to corporate decision makers
Capable of long term sales and marketing planning and week-by-week tactical implementation of sales plan
Goal driven to exceed sales targets to maximize personal income
